ATLANTA (AP) -- Michael Jordan appeared visibly moved at times while the NBA honored him at halftime of the All-Star Game in Atlanta.

Mariah Carey provided the halftime entertainment, wearing skirts that were replicas of Jordan's uniforms with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Videotoped highlights played in the background while Jordan and the rest of the All-Stars watched from the bench.

Jordan was given a thunderous ovation as he took the microphone from Carey. He said that he leaves the game in good hands, passing along the things that Julius Erving, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird passed down to him.

Jordan played a game-high 16 minutes in the first half, scoring six points on just 3-for-12 shooting in his 14th and final All-Star Game.
