ANALYSIS: McDonald made big strides at South Florida after committing himself to the weight room and turning excess weight into muscle. McDonald has a great arsenal of post moves, but can also run the floor. He led the Bulls in scoring and rebounding this season, and also impressed scouts at the NBA's Portsmouth camp (averaging 19.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in three games). McDonald was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with false imprisonment (a felony) and battery. Prosecutors dropped the felony charge March 13. McDonald has entered into a diversion program and his attorney said that if McDonald ""completes certain conditions, the state will drop the charges.""
