Ricardo Ratliffe
Position: PF
Class: Senior
School: Missouri
Conference: BIG12
HT: 6'8"
WT: 240 lbs.
Biography: Ratliffe's highly efficient shooting in two seasons at Missouri and his standout performance at an All-Star game earlier this year could entice an NBA team to take a chance on him. However, he is undersized at his projected position, power forward, and likely hasn't shown enough perimeter shooting ability to move to small forward. Ratliffe, though, is very effective at short range. His 63.5 career shooting percentage was the best in Missouri and Big 12 history. Ratliffe also broke school and conference single-season marks by knocking down an NCAA-best 69.3 percent of his shots in 2011-12. He averaged 13.9 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds during that season while earning second-team All-Big 12 honors for the 30-5 Tigers. In March, he had 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 10 rebounds during the NABC College All-Star Game. Ratliffe also averaged 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds at the Portsmouth Invitational but made just 44.1 percent of his shots over three games. During his first season at Missouri, Ratliffe averaged 10.6 points - on 57.1 percent shooting - and 6.0 rebounds en route to being named Big 12 newcomer of the year. Ratliffe began his career at Central Florida Community College and was the 13th player in NJCAA Division I history to be twice named a first-team All-American.
