Jordan Taylor
Position: PG
Class: Senior
School: Wisconsin
Conference: BIG10
HT: 6'1"
WT: 195 lbs.
Biography: The 2012 preseason first-team All American did not live up to expectations in his senior season at Wisconsin, averaging less points, rebounds, and assists than in 2011, when Taylor was named second-team All America. Nonetheless, the natural leader helped the Badgers secure another winning season and ended his career by scoring a game high-tying 17 points in a 64-63 loss to No. 1 seed Syracuse in the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament. Taylor had career highs his junior year in nearly every category, averaging 18.1 points, 4.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds and leading the nation with a 3.83 assist-to-turnover ratio. He has shown the ability to take over games with his scoring, such as when he registered 21 of his 27 points in the second half of a 71-67 comeback win over then-No. 1 Ohio State on Feb. 12, 2011, as well as the leadership to run an offense and take care of the ball. The durable Taylor appeared in all 136 games Wisconsin played in his four seasons - starting 87 - but he is likely going to have to prove that he can make up for his lack of size and quickness in other aspects of his game to have success at the next level. Taylor could be selected late in the second round.
