Biography: A two-time SEC scoring champion, Jenkins opted to forego his senior season at Vanderbilt. He was a third team All-America
selection this past season, leading the Commodores to a 25-11 mark and earning MVP honors in the conference tournament as
Vanderbilt captured the title. He had 17 points in a 71-64 win in the final that ended Kentucky's 24-game winning streak and
was one of two losses suffered by the eventual national champion. Jenkins led the country in 3-pointers made with 134 to tie
the SEC record and shot 43.9 from beyond the arc. He joined Kentucky's Anthony Davis as the only unanimous selections on the
all-conference team. Jenkins averaged 11.0 points and shot 48.3 percent on 3-pointers as a freshman, increasing his scoring
average to 19.5 as a sophomore. Jenkins scored 42.3 points per game as a senior in high school to rank second on Tennessee's
all-time list. There is little question that Jenkins is a good enough shooter to flourish in the NBA, but his athleticism
is a concern. He fits the profile of a player who can score off catch-and-shoot situations but contributed little else on
offense in college, averaging 1.1 assists. Jenkins has a chance to find his way into the NBA since he can help space the floor
for the league's superstars.
