Note From the Underground

Robert Horry likes to drive to the basket, but many teams, particularly some in the Eastern Conference, have believed that slamming him to the ground on one of his slashes early in a game will turn him into a jump shooter for the rest of the evening. The 6'10" Horry may force opponents to rewrite the book on him this season because he's not so slender anymore. He has gained 15 pounds, to 240, to help him stand up to the pounding at power forward, and he shouldn't be bumped around on drives as easily this year.
