Mark Jackson, traded from Denver to Indiana last February, led the NBA in assists in 1996-97, ending John Stockton's nine-year run as league leader. In so doing, Jackson became the sixth player in history to lead the NBA in a statistical category in a season during which he played for more than one team (he's only the second to do so in assists).
