MAGIC AT THE BUZZER...As time expired in Game 4 of the 1987
Finals, Magic Johnson pulled out a junior skyhook—more
accurately described as a dagger to the hearts of the
Celtics—giving the Lakers a 107-106 win at the Boston
Garden. The Lakers won the
series 4-2 in what would be the final battle for the title
between these decade-long
rivals.
