Then: John Havlicek, the next generation. A master at moving without the ball on offense and a deadly marksman, he was one of the greatest catch-and-shoot players the league has ever known.

Now: Never exceptionally quick, he's lost a step or two and is a defensive liability. But on the rare occasions he's called on, his jumper is always ready.
