DRAZEN PETROVIC, G Petrovic was also a major contributor to New Jersey's winning ways from 1992-'94. The three-point specialist led the team in scoring (20.6) in the 1991-'92 campaign and followed that up by averaging 22.3 points the next season. However, the Nets and the entire NBA were dealt a huge blow when Petrovic was tragically killed in a car accident in Germany on June 7, 1993. His No. 3 is one of six retired Nets numbers.
