Though he never reached the level of success of his brother, Bernard (who played for New Jersey during the 1977-'78 and 1978-'79 seasons), Albert epitomized the solid yet unspectacular play of the Nets in the early-mid '80s. Albert, who is sixth on the Nets' all-time games played and scoring lists, saw the club make the playoffs for five seasons in a row (1982-'86), but advance past the first round only once.
