(1990-'96)

Though he ultimately failed to live up to the hype that surrounded him coming out of Syracause as the No. 1 overall pick in the 1990 draft, Coleman triggered a Nets resurgence as the club made the playoffs in 1992-'93 and 1993-'94 after not seeing the postseason since 1987. Coleman is the franchise's second all-time leading scorer (6,930 points) and rebounder (3,690) and was named Rookie of the Year in 1990-'91.
