After his selection in the second round of the 1967 entry draft, Jackson
joined Walt Frazier and Bill Bradley to form the nucleus of a New York Knicks
team that would win league titles in 1970 and 1973. (Jackson missed the first
championship season after undergoing spinal fusion
surgery).
