A hoard of dancers took over the Tower City Center mall in Cleveland … and they did it just for LeBron.
More than 200 children from the Shaker Dance Academy bust into a “Glee”-like routine inside the shoping mall, dancing to Bonnie Tyler‘s “Holding Out for a Hero” and Usher‘s “More” with the hope LeBron was watching.
The dance was organized by Positively Cleveland and WKYC Channel 3 as part of the More Than A Player campaign to keep The King with the Cavs.
“We want him to stay,” said 18-year-old Kristopher Terry. “We’re doing our dances to look like a fash mob, hoping to encourage him.”
For anyone over 30, a “flash mob” occurs when groups of people come together for a spontaneous demonstration after an alert is sent out through a social network, such as Facebook or Twitter. (That fun fact comes courtesy of the Plain Dealer.)
