Nets-Knicks battle over LeBron gets ugly

Bet Knicks fans love having Mikahail Prokhorov's mug hanging over their arena.
Oh boy, this is getting ugly. The Nets’ billionaire owner, Mikhail Prokhorov, and part-owner, Jay-Z, collaborated for that 225-foot mural. (For those not in tuned to rap music, Jay-Z has a three-album series entitled “The Blueprint.”).
It’s nice right? Probably not to Knicks fans, because this monster looms above their home of Madison Square Garden on Eighth Avenue and 34th Street in New York. It’s expected to be finished by midnight, just as the buzzer sounds for free agency to begin. Prokhorov and Jay-Z, as well as team president Rod Thorn and new coach Avery Johnson, get the first crack at LeBron tomorrow in Akron, while their rival Knicks are next in line to meet the King.
Don’t ya love it with cities and billionaires fight over a 25-year-old? [New York Post]
