LeBron went back to camp today. The King took a break from the free-agent frenzy to make a suprise appearance at his Nike Skills Academy at the University of Akron. Wearing a Yankees cap and white T-shirt, James strolled into the arena a little before 3 p.m. alongside his former teammate and current Bucks point guard, Damon Jones.
And thanks to some keen observers in Cleveland, we found out that he “asked for the main locker room to be opened so he could dress.” Then he stretched out with a trainer, took a few shots as Chris Paul watched in admiration and later shot around with Jawad Williams and high school friend Romeo Travis.
Wow. Great. Awesome. Thanks, guys.
I mean, I don’t know what can possibly top that stuff, but one can only hope we get another dunk show. You know, one that Nike will inevitably try to keep under wraps.
UPDATE: LeBron drove off in a white Bentley.
