LeBron wasn’t a no-show after all.  He was just four hours late.

After making a surprise appearance at Day 1 of the camp on Monday, LeBron failed to show for two of Tuesday’s five sessions. And according to the AP‘s Tom Withers, camp organizers and his publicist expected the King to be there for all of it.

The Chosen One rolled up in a customized Dodge silver pickup truck (why does it seem like he’s got a different pimped-out car every day?) at 3:15 p.m. with former Cavs teammate Damon Jones. Wearing a white Nike T-shirt and orange shirts (no Yanks cap today), he did not address the media or look ready to play.

He entered Rhodes Arena and walked onto the floor while some of the nation’s elite college players were finishing up their second workout of the day. Then he went an sat courtside where his two young sons, LeBron Jr. and Bryce, came in with James’ former high school teammates Dru Joyce III and Romeo Travis shortly after.

LeBron’s tardiness, of course, has fueled speculation about his free agency plans, especially since he’s expected to announce his decision once the camp ends. Where was he all that time? Was he talking to a team? Was he mulling his decision with his representatives? WHAT’S GOING ON?! [AP]
