With the NBA trade deadline almost upon us, CNNSI.com asked what you would do with your team's roster, given the chance to be its GM for a day. There were a lot of Kobe-for-Vince suggestions, and quite a few offers for Dikembe Mutombo. Here's a sampling of the proposals we received.

Hawks | Celtics | Hornets | Bulls | Cavaliers | Mavericks | Nuggets
Pistons | Warriors | Rockets | Pacers | Clippers | Lakers | Heat
Bucks | Timberwolves | Nets | Knicks | Magic | 76ers | Suns
Blazers | Kings | Spurs | Sonics | Raptors | Jazz | Grizzlies | Wizards

Interactive GM
  Atlanta Hawks
I would trade Dikembe Mutombo to the Mavericks for
Michael Finley and Shawn Bradley. Both Finley and Mutombo are in the final years of their contracts, and there's no guarantee either will stay with their current team. -- Marcus Woods, Hillside, N.J.
  Boston Celtics
I would trade
Antoine Walker to the Pacers for Jermaine O'Neal and Travis Best. The Celtics would get a great young center and a good point guard, while the Pacers would get a big, strong forward. -- Peter Kieselbach, St. Paul, Minn.

I would send Antoine Walker to the Bulls for Elton Brand. Chicago gets an explosive scorer, and Boston gets a truer power forward. -- Brian Keith, Princeton, N.J.
  Charlotte Hornets
The Hornets should trade
P.J. Brown and Derrick Coleman to the Knicks for Glen Rice. -- Bryan, Chapin, S.C.

I'd trade Derrick Coleman for a first-rounder, ANYWHERE! This guy only hurts the Hornets, so he has to go. -- Andrew Chow, Greenville, N.C.
  Chicago Bulls
I would send
Marcus Fizer to New York for Glen Rice. The Knicks need bulk down low, and the Bulls need a shooter and a big-name player. -- Erik Gilbertson, Des Moines, Iowa

I'd trade Ron Artest and Marcus Fizer to the Raptors for Antonio Davis. -- John, Chicago
  Cleveland Cavaliers
I would release Zydrunas Ilgauskas to free up cap room and offer a first-round pick,
Robert Traylor and Cedric Henderson in exchange for Dikembe Mutombo, Antonio Davis or Shareef Abdur-Rahim. -- Dave Coke, Medina, Ohio
  Dallas Mavericks
I would send
Gary Trent and a 2001 second-round pick to the Knicks for Kurt Thomas. Thomas would bring the Mavs an inside presence on defense, and the Knicks have too many power forwards. -- Mike Sweet, Dallas
  Denver Nuggets
I would trade Raef Lafrentz to the Lakers for
Robert Horry and Horace Grant -- and maybe Tyronn Lue. --- Peter Riquetti, Chicago
  Detroit Pistons
I would ship off
Chucky Atkins and Ben Wallace for Indiana's Jalen Rose, so that when the Pistons pick up Chris Webber this offseason, they'll bring back the days of the Fab Five. -- Ryan, Clinton Township, Mich.
  Golden State Warriors
I would trade
Mookie Blaylock, Vonteego Cummings and a future draft pick to Vancouver for Mike Bibby. -- Vivek Krishnan, Redwood City, Calif.

I would send Adonal Foyle and Antawn Jamison to Atlanta for Dikembe Mutombo. -- Sasa Zivko, Zagreb, Croatia
  Houston Rockets
I would send
Maurice Taylor, Shandon Anderson and Kelvin Cato to Vancouver for Bryant "Big Country" Reeves and Shareef Abdur-Rahim. -- Oscar Ortiz, Houston
  Indiana Pacers
I would send Jalen Rose to Toronto for the returns of
Mark Jackson and Antonio Davis. The Pacers would get back their true point guard, who understands what the position means, and a power forward who would provide frontcourt help for Jermaine O'Neal. -- Sam, Indianapolis
  Los Angeles Clippers
I would send
Corey Maggette and Zendon Hamilton to the Pistons for Jerome Williams. -- David Moss, Baltimore
  Los Angeles Lakers
I would send
Kobe Bryant to Orlando for the multi-talented Tracy McGrady. It's a fair deal, because both players are young and have a lot of talent. I'm pretty sure it would benefit both teams. -- Khalil Chi, Cotabato City, Philippines
  Miami Heat
I would send
Cedric Ceballos and Brian Grant to Charlotte for Derrick Coleman and Eddie Robinson. DC gets a fresh start and is reunited with Anthony Mason, with whom he had a career year, and Grant gets to play power forward again. -- David Nee, Melrose, Mass.

I would trade Dan Majerle and a second-round pick for Matt Geiger. -- Greg Namoff, Miami
  Milwaukee Bucks
Even though they're playing well, I'd trade
Sam Cassell and Tim Thomas to Seattle for Gary Payton. Our bench would be a little thin, but it would pay big dividends later. -- Steve, Green Bay, Wisc.

I would send Glenn Robinson to the Trail Blazers for Dale Davis and a first-round pick. Robinson would give the Blazers some more force on the perimeter, and Davis would help shore up the Bucks' weak inside game. -- Mark Dittami, Chicago
  Minnesota Timberwolves
I would send
Terrell Brandon and Anthony Peeler to New York for Allan Houston. -- Chris Sundquist, Lincoln, Neb.
  New Jersey Nets
I would trade
Stephon Marbury and Kendall Gill to the Knicks for Allan Houston, Larry Johnson and Chris Childs. The Knicks need a solid point guard, and the Nets need players who will work better with Keith Van Horn. -- Brian Podesta, McLean, Va.
  New York Knicks
I would trade Glen Rice and a 2002 first-round pick to Minnesota for Terrell Brandon. The Knicks are dying to get Brandon, and the T'wolves need draft picks. -- Ed Jennett, Wheatlye Heights, N.Y.

I would send Allan Houston, Chris Childs and
Marcus Camby to the Nets for Stephon Marbury. -- Al Kino, Brooklyn
  Orlando Magic
I would get back Ben Wallace. All Orlando needs is a big man who can rebound and play D. They already have all the offense they need in T-Mac,
Darrell Armstrong and Mike Miller, so Wallace's offense, or lack thereof, wouldn't be a factor. I'd deal anyone on the roster for Wallace except the three players above and Grant Hill. Take your pick. -- Obiora Nwoye, Dallas
  Philadelphia 76ers
I would send
Toni Kukoc and Matt Geiger to Seattle for Vin Baker and a first-round pick. -- Michael Wurst, Philadelphia
  Phoenix Suns
I would trade
Tom Gugliotta, Mario Elie and Chris Dudley to Detroit for Ben Wallace, Michale Curry and Brian Cardinal. The Pistons get a much-needed small forward, and the Suns get a quality big man. -- Mohamed Zogaj, Temple Terrace, Fla.

I would send Tom Gugliotta and Shawn Marion to the Hawks for Dikembe Mutombo. This would make the Hawks younger and more athletic and make the Suns an instant title contender. -- Chip Anderson, Valley City, N.D.
  Portland Trail Blazers
I would send Dale Davis and
Steve Smith to the L.A. Clippers for Lamar Odom. -- Daryl Mars, Chino Hills, Calif.

I would trade Rasheed Wallace and Bonzi Wells to Sacramento for Chris Webber. -- Neil Callanan, Dublin
  Sacramento Kings
I would trade
Nick Anderson to the Lakers for Isaiah Rider. -- Glenn, Corona, Calif.

I would send Chris Webber and Nick Anderson to New York for Allan Houston, Marcus Camby and Travis Knight. This would give the Knicks a formidable lineup and make the Kings a little bigger with another sharp-shooter. -- M. Lee Dobbins, Sacramento
  San Antonio Spurs
I would send
David Robinson, Malik Rose and a draft pick to Milwaukee for Ray Allen. -- Justin McCain, Baton Rouge, La.
  Seattle SuperSonics
I would trade
Shammond Williams, Ruben Patterson and a first-round pick to the Wizards for Mitch Richmond. The Sonics need a shooting guard who can defend and score, and the Wizards could use youth in the backcourt as they're rebuilding. -- Victor Humphrey, Parsippany, N.J.

I would send Gary Payton to New Jersey for Stephon Marbury, straight-up. -- Mike Odell, Bellevue, Wash.
  Toronto Raptors
I would send
Vince Carter, Antonio Davis and Corliss Williamson to Atlanta in exchange for Dikembe Mutombo, Jason Terry and Lorenzen Wright. -- John Hanchiruk, Ontario
  Utah Jazz
I would send
John Starks and Greg Ostertag to New Jersey for Keith Van Horn. -- Richy Powell, Glendive, Mont.
  Vancouver Grizzlies
Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Mike Bibby for Kobe Bryant. I like it. -- Big Bad Grizz Fan, Vancouver
  Washington Wizards
I would trade
Rod Strickland for anybody or anything, even another team's mascot. -- Bill Perzinski, Baltimore
