MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- After a tough loss in their last game, the Minnesota Timberwolves look to rebound when whey host the Houston Rockets, who have lost all three meetings this season.

Kevin Garnett scored 31 points but the Timberwolves had their season-high six-game winning streak snapped with a 102-100 loss to red-hot Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Minnesota has already clinched a playoff berth in the Western Conference but has an opportunity to improve on its current sixth-place ranking. The Wolves trail Phoenix by two games and fourth-place San Antonio by 2 1/2 games with 12 remaining. They are 36-14 since December 18.

The Timberwolves have won all three meetings with Houston this season.

The Houston Rockets continued their roll through the worst teams in the NBA as Walt Williams had 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 121-86 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.

The Rockets have broken the 120-point plateau in consecutive games for the first time in five years and have won three in a row at home. However, the wins have come against the Warriors, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers, who are a combined 45-167 and 15-94 on the road.

Houston has dropped its last seven games on the road, where it is 8-27 this season.
