Chicago (26-11) at Philadelphia (10-23) 7:30 pm EST
Scottie Pippen and the Chicago Bulls, coming off their biggest win of the season, look to keep on rolling and extend their winning streak over the 76ers to 17 games tonight in Philadelphia.

Chicago came away with a 101-91 victory at home on Tuesday against the SuperSonics, who own the league's best record. The Bulls have won both games since Pippen returned, even though he has averaged just 12.5 points.

Michael Jordan has been on fire in leading the Bulls to three straight wins, averaging 38.7 points during that stretch. Chicago has won six of its last seven games and has lost just twice in its last 16 contests overall. Despite their recent success, the Bulls have won just twice in their last four road games and are 7-10 overall away from home.

The Bulls have taken over the top spot in the Eastern Conference and it would be quite a surprise if they could not pull closer to the Sonics for the league's best record. Chicago beat the 76ers for the 16th straight time on November 1st, 94-74. The Bulls have won five in a row at Philadelphia, where they suffered their last loss in the series on December 8th, 1993.

The 76ers have suddenly won three of their last five games but two of those victories have come against the lowly Grizzlies. Wednesday's 107-89 triumph over Vancouver snapped Philadelphia's three-game home losing streak.

Rookie Tim Thomas scored a season-high 23 points in Wednesday's win, which marked the Sixers' fourth consecutive victory when scoring 100 points or more.

Allen Iverson had 17 points and 10 assists in that win and is averaging 28.3 and 9.3 over the last three contests. But he was held to just 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting while committing eight turnovers to just four assists in the first meeting of the season against the Bulls.
