HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -- Jud Dillard scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Tennessee Tech to a 62-57 overtime victory over High Point on Tuesday night.
Tennessee Tech (2-2) trailed by 11, 47-36, with 8:28 remaining in the second half after Corey Law hit two free throws for High Point. But the Golden Eagles used a 16-5 run to tie the game 52-52 at the end of regulation.
Kevin Murphy and Dillard accounted for eight of Tennessee Tech's 10 points in overtime. Murphy finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Dillard (1-3), who led Tennessee Tech in rebounding last season with 5.8 per game, entered averaging 7.3 rebounds a game and 15.7 points per game.
Nick Barbour led High Point with 14 points and Corey law chipped in with 13.
Tennessee State outrebounded High Point 44-36 and converted 73 percent (11-of-15) of their free throws.
