NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Kerron Johnson had 16 points, leading five double-figure scorers for Belmont in a 75-62 win over Tennessee State on Tuesday night.
Ian Clark added 14 points, Mick Hedgepeth 13, J.J. Mann 11 and Scott Saunders 10 for the Bruins (6-2).
The teams stayed close during the first half, with Belmont claiming a 35-32 advantage going into the locker room. Patrick Miller's 3-pointer put the Tigers ahead 47-46 with 12:57 left in the game, but Belmont was ready to rally.
Saunders and Hedgepeth each sank a pair of foul shots to spark a 12-3 Bruins run, and they held on from there.
Belmont put together a 10-4 run in the game's final minute to seal it, clinching its sixth consecutive win.
The Bruins outscored the Tigers 40-30 in the second half.
Miller's game-high 17 points led Tennessee State (3-6).
