POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) -- Chavaughn Lewis scored the final four points of the game to lift Marist to a 59-56 win over Army on Wednesday night.
Army led by as many as 10 points in the second half and the Red Foxes trailed 56-52 with 3:14 to play. A free throw and a layup by Adam Kemp cut the deficit to 56-55 with 2:12 to go. After an Army turnover, Lewis hit the go-ahead basket with 23 seconds to play and iced it with a layup with 6 seconds remaining.
Devin Price scored 17 points and Lewis added 11 for Marist (4-5), which has won two games in a row.
Julian Simmons scored 13 points and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for Army. Ella Ellis also scored 13 points and Josh Herbeck added 12 for the Black Knights (3-6), who have lost three of their past four games.
