LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Anthony Downing scored 20 points as Missouri State snapped a three-game losing streak with a 68-60 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday.
Downing had nearly a perfect offensive day. He went 4 of 5 from the field, including 2 of 2 on 3-pointers, and made all 10 free throw attempts.
Caleb Patterson added 18 points, and Kyle Weems had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Bears (5-3), who shot 54.1 percent (20 of 37). Michael Bizoukas had nine assists.
Will Neighbour led the Trojans (3-7) with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Chuck Guy scored 13.
With Missouri State trailing 16-9, Patterson scored five points in a 10-0 run that made it 19-16 with 7:31 left in the first half. The Bears were up 29-22 at the break and never led by fewer than four in the second half.
The Bears are 6-0 all time against UALR.
