FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Bo Spencer scored 22 points as Nebraska defeated TCU 69-57 on Saturday night.
Nebraska (6-3) held the Horned Frogs to just four points in the first eight minutes of the second half. The Cornhuskers took the lead for good, 47-45, with 10:14 to play on Jorge Brian Diaz's putback.
TCU (7-3) scored only 20 points and shot 24 percent in the second half. Kyan Anderson's jumper with 5:07 to play was the Frogs' last made shot from the field.
Hank Thorns had 18 points and Anderson 15 for TCU.
With three seconds left in the first half, Spencer caught an inbound pass, bobbled it, recovered and hit an off-balance 60-footer at the buzzer to cut TCU's led to 37-30 at halftime.
