HOUSTON (AP) -- Arsalan Kazemi had 20 points and 16 rebounds to pace Rice to a 109-51 rout of Louisiana College on Wednesday night.
Kazemi also had four steals and three assists while playing just 21 minutes for the Owls (7-2), who won their fourth game in a row.
Dylan Ennis scored 16 points, Julian DeBose added 13 and Connor Frizzelle and Tamir Jackson had 11 apiece for Rice.
Korey Salmon scored 16 points and Jarrod Jackson 10 for the Division III Wildcats (4-2).
While the Owls shot 53 percent (37 of 70), Louisiana College was limited to 29 percent (21 of 73), including 4 of 29 from 3-point distance. Rice, whose largest lead was 63 points, also held a 55-35 rebounding advantage.
Both teams were coming back from long layoffs after breaking for final exams. Rice had not played in 11 days, and Louisiana College in eight.
