ORONO, Maine (AP) -- Gerald McLemore scored 19 points and Maine defeated Utah Valley 77-60 on Monday night.
McLemore, who is eighth in the country at 22 points per game, was 8 of 16 from the field and 3 of 6 from 3-point range.
Justin Edwards added 17 points, Alesdair Fraser 12 and Mike Allison 11 for the Black Bears, who snapped a two-game skid.
Maine (4-4) shot 54 percent from the field (34 of 63) and was 7 of 16 from long range. The Black Bears scored 18 points off 10 turnovers, while giving it away just seven times.
Maine took a 45-28 lead into halftime after shooting 51.4 percent in the opening 20 minutes, and pushed its advantage to as many as 27 points, 56-29, with 16:57 remaining.
Ben Aird led the Wolverines (6-7) with 13 points. Isiah Williams and Geddes Robinson chipped in 11 points each for Utah Valley.
