LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Jud Dillard and Kevin Murphy each scored 22 points to lead Tennessee Tech to a 67-59 win over Bethune-Cookman in a Las Vegas Classic game on Friday.
Dillard also had eight rebounds for Tennessee Tech (8-5).
The Golden Eagles led 35-27 at halftime and for the entire second half, but the Wildcats' Kevin Dukes made a 3-pointer to get Bethune-Cookman within 60-59. However, Zach Swansey scored with 1:20 left to put Tennessee Tech back ahead by three.
Murphy followed with a basket after teammate Terrell Barnes' steal, and Zach Bailey made two free throws to give Tech a 66-59 lead.
Kevin Dukes led Bethune-Cookman (4-9) with 14 points. Anthony Breeze had 11 points and 11 rebounds while Adrian Coleman scored 11 for the Wildcats.
