NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Jacob Arnett had 17 points to lead six double-figure scorers for Lipscomb in an 85-74 win over Belmont Friday night.
Jordan Burgason added 16 points, Justin Glenn 14, Malcolm Smith 12 and Deonte Alexander and Damarius Smith had 11 apiece for the Bisons (8-9, 3-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Glenn also had 10 boards for Lipscomb, which outrebounded Belmont 40-33.
The Bisons trailed by three points at halftime and trailed the entire second half until coming alive in the final minutes.
Burgason knocked down a 3-pointer and was fouled on an attempt at another his next time down the floor, sinking all three free throws for his six-point swing that sparked an 18-0 Bisons run. The spree spanned a near-six minute period in which they also held Belmont scoreless, and came out of with a 75-68 lead and 2:24 left.
Ian Clark scored 27 points for the Bruins (11-6, 4-1).
