JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) -- Brandon Penn scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Rider defeat Saint Peter's 72-58 on Sunday.
The Broncs (6-11, 3-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Association) shot 49 percent from the field (25 of 51) while holding the Peacocks to just 36.1-percent shooting (22 of 61).
Rider, which led 35-29 at halftime, was up 49-48 with 11:29 remaining. The Broncs then went on an 11-2 run to go up 60-50 on Anthony Myles' layup, following a steal by teammate Jonathon Thompson. The Broncs pushed their lead to as many as 16, 72-56, on Daniel Stewart's layup with 1:15 to play.
Myles finished with 17 points while Daniel Stewart and Jeff Jones added 13 each for Rider, which has won five out of its last six.
Lamin Fulton paced the Peacocks (3-13, 2-3) with 19 points and Markese Tucker had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
