BOSTON (AP) -- Travis McKie scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and C. J. Harris had 15 points to lead Wake Forest to a 71-56 win over Boston College on Saturday.
Ty Walker added 11 rebounds, six blocks and six points for the Demon Deacons (11-8, 2-3 Atlantic Coast Conference), who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Ryan Anderson paced Boston College (7-12, 2-3) with 13 points and Lonnie Jackson had 12. The Eagles have dropped two straight.
Wake Forest had lost its last two league games by double digits - getting beat by 36 points against North Carolina State last Saturday and by 18 at No. 4 Duke on Thursday.
The Demon Deacons looked ready from the start against Boston College, pulling to a 13-point lead late the first half. They saw it sliced to three twice in the opening five minutes of the second half before they took charge with a 12-2 spurt to open a 52-40 edge.
McKie had the first two baskets of the spree and capped it with a 3 from the left wing with 8:59 to play.
The Eagles closed the margin to nine points four times over the next 6 minutes, but Wake Forest scored seven straight points to make it 69-52 on McKie's jumper with 2:35 left.
The Demon Deacons led by eight at the half, but BC scored nine of the first 13 points, narrowing it to 38-35 on Lonnie Jackson's jumper from the top of the key with 15:24 to play.
In the first half, Wake Forest controlled play in the lane early, getting a number of easy looks to open a 15-7 edge on Carson Desrosiers' jam 7:12 into the game.
The Eagles closed the gap to five before Demon Deacons went on an 11-3 run over a 4:43 stretch, pulling to a 31-20 lead on Walkers' foul-line jumper. BC then scored eight of the final 11 points, closing it to 34-26 at halftime.
The Eagles shot just 28.6 percent in the first half (8 of 28) and missed 10 of 11 from beyond the 3-point line.
BC reserve guard John Cahill missed the game with a shoulder injury. He's expected to be out another week.
The Eagles beat Wake Forest twice in four days last year - the regular season finale and in the opening round of the ACC tourney.
