CHICAGO (AP) -- Corey Wickware hit six 3-pointers and scored 26 points to pace Southern Illinois-Edwardsville to an 81-70 victory over Chicago State on Wednesday night.
Mark Yelovich added 20 points and Kris Davis 11 as Edwardsville (10-17) closed its season by winning three of four. SIUE hit 51 percent (29 of 57) and connected on 10 of 18 3-pointers.
Lee Fisher and Jeremy Robinson posted double-doubles for Chicago State (4-25), which has lost three in a row. Fisher had 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Robinson scored 10 and grabbed 12 boards.
Ardarius Simmons added 15 points and Matt Samuels 14 for Chicago State, which was limited to 38 percent shooting.
Chicago State led by 11 midway through the first half but fell behind 43-34 at intermission.
Edwardsville, whose lead topped out at 14 points with 6:45 remaining, has joined the Ohio Valley and will be eligible for postseason play next year.
