FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Taylor Braun scored 16 points and North Dakota State rebounded from its loss to No. 1 Indiana with an easy 73-40 win over Mayville State on Saturday night.

Braun was 5 of 9 from the field and also picked up three steals. Chris Kading and Mike Felt came off the bench to chip in 15 points apiece for the Bison (2-1), and Felt had three of NDSU's four 3-pointers.

Steven Ivory Jr. had 20 points to lead the Comets, an NAIA program treating the game as an exhibition. Austin Emerson added 11, including three 3-pointers - one of which gave Mayville State its only lead, 6-5. But Braun hit a 3, Kading made two baskets and Felt converted a three-point play, and the rout was on.

NDSU led 33-20 at halftime and by as many as 41 in the second half. The Bison shot 51 percent from the floor.
