CONWAY, Ark. (AP) -- Cameron Golden hit a 3-pointer with 4.8 seconds remaining, lifting Arkansas State to a 73-72 victory over Central Arkansas on Wednesday night.

Golden's shot capped an 8-0 run in the final two minutes for the Red Wolves (3-1). Trey Finn hit a 3-pointer at the 1:44 mark and Raeford Worsham added a jumper with 1:05 left before Golden's game-winner. Central Arkansas (1-2) committed three turnovers during that stretch.

Worsham led Arkansas State with 18 points. Ed Townsel added 15 and Brandon Peterson had 12 points and nine rebounds. Golden had 10 points, four steals and four assists.

The Bears got 17 points and 10 rebounds from Jarvis Garner. LaQuentin Miles and Jordan Harks added 14 points apiece, and Robert Crawford had 10.
