NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Devon Saddler scored 18 and Jamelle Hagins finished with a double-double, 16 points and 10 rebounds, as Delaware beat Radford 68-59 Tuesday night in a nonconference game.
Trailing 34-33 early in the second half, Delaware (3-6) went on a 16-3 run, capped by Saddler's 3-pointer to give Delaware a 49-37 lead with 11:25 left to play.
Radford (5-4) struggled shooting in the second half, shooting 29 percent (9 for 31) in the second half compared to Delaware's 46.2 percent (12 for 26).
Radford cut the lead to six, 56-50 with 7:39 remaining, but free throws by Kyle Anderson and a layup by Carl Baptiste pushed the lead back to double figures. Late free throws by Saddler sealed the victory.
R.J. Price and Ya Ya Anderson led Radford with 14 points apiece.
