BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) -- Derrick Needham scored in double figures for the seventh straight game and Fairfield used its best shooting performance of the season to beat Drexel 69-58 Sunday in a nonconference game.

Fairfield (7-5) led 28-24 at intermission but the teams exchanged leads eight times over the first 6 minutes of the second half. Wade hit a 3-pointer to help Fairfield take the lead for good, 39-38, then followed with a layup as the Stags outscored Drexel 17-4 over the next 7 minutes.

Damian Lee led Drexel (3-7) with 15 points but the Dragons shot just 38.1 percent (21 of 55) from the field, their second worst outing of the season.
