GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- Derrick Barden had 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting, Tevin Svihovec chipped in with 19 points and Northern Colorado went on to beat North Dakota 75-66 on Friday night.
Tied 31-31 at the break, Northern Colorado (3-6, 1-0 Big Sky) shot 73.7 percent from the floor in the second half, hitting 14 of 19 shots, but North Dakota didn't make it easy, going on a 22-10 run to begin the second half.
The Bears began their comeback with a 3-pointer by Paul Garnica with 10:02 to play, sparking a 34-13 rally from that point on.
Tate Unruh had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Bears and Garnica ended his night with 14. Barden had nine rebounds to go along with his point total.
Aaron Anderson had 18 points to lead North Dakota (2-8, 0-2).
