GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Darren White scored 25 points and Campbell used a timely 11-0 run in overtime to earn an 86-81 nonconference victory over East Carolina Wednesday night.
East Carolina (8-4) led 78-75 with 2:09 left in overtime when Darian Hooker's jumper sparked Campbell's run. Five different Camels scored during the stretch.
Campbell (5-9) was ahead 69-60 with 2:24 left in regulation when the Pirates embarked on an 11-0 run that included consecutive 3-pointers by Akeem Richmond. Richmond hit 6 of 13 from 3-point range and tied with Maurice Kemp for the team high with 18 points.
Campbell's Andrew Ryan drained a jumper with 21 seconds left to snap the run and knot the score 71-all. Neither team scored again in regulation.
The loss drops the Pirates to 7-1 at home, while it was Campbell's first road win in five tries this year.
White added 10 rebounds for his second straight double-double.
