MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) -- Kyle Randall scored 16 points, Olivier Mbaigoto and Blake Hibbitts added 12 apiece and Central Michigan beat Ball State 71-57 on Saturday night.

Randall was 6 of 12 from the field for the Chippewas (9-8, 2-2 Mid-American), who used a 13-2 run just after halftime to turn a 41-35 deficit into a 48-43 lead and never trailed again. CMU improved to 5-1 at home.

Majok Majok had 14 points and 11 rebounds, his seventh double-double of the season, for the Cardinals (7-9, 1-3), who had won the previous five meetings between the schools and had never lost at McGuirk Arena. Jauwan Scaife chipped in 13 points.

Ball State took a 37-35 lead into halftime but went cold in the second half, going just 9 of 26 from the field and 1 of 13 from 3-point range. Central Michigan turned 17 Cardinals turnovers into 15 points for the game.
