AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) -- Mike Fitzgerald scored 16 points and Todd Fletcher and Michael Lyons added 14 each to lead hot-shooting Air Force to a 90-48 victory against New Orleans on Wednesday night.
Kamryn Williams had 10 points for the Falcons (11-6), who made 36 of 56 (64.3 percent) of their attempts from the floor, including 10 of 18 (55.6 percent) from 3-point range. Air Force reached 90 points for a second straight game.
Rarlensee Nelson had 12 points and Lovell Cook 11 for the Privateers (5-13), who trailed 43-30 at the break and hit just five field goals (in 21 tries) in the seconds half.
Air Force enjoyed a 35-20 rebounding advantage and outscored New Orleans 38-12 in the paint.
For the game, the Privateers shot 36.2 percent (17 of 47) from the floor.
