BOSTON (AP) -- Joel Smith scored 29 points, including 16 after the end of regulation, to help Northeastern edge William & Mary 95-91 in two overtimes Wednesday night for its seventh consecutive win.

Eleven of Smith's points came in the second overtime. His layup put the Huskies (12-7, 7-0 Colonial Athletic Association) ahead to stay, 83-82, with 3:27 remaining, and his 3-pointer made it a four-point lead.

Jonathan Lee added 19 points and David Walker 17 for the Huskies, off to their best CAA start since joining the league in the 2005-06 season.

Tim Rusthoven had 25 points and 11 rebounds and Marcus Thornton scored 23 points to pace the Tribe (7-11, 1-6), which lost its eighth straight.

William & Mary shot 73.1 percent (19 of 26) in the second half to rally from a 53-39 deficit in the final 10 minutes of regulation.

Brandon Britt's layup with 13 seconds left forced overtime.
