GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -- Tevin Hammond scored 20 points, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff made an 11-point run late in the second half to beat Grambling State 79-67 on Saturday.

DaVon Haynes and Daniel Broughton had 13 points apiece, and Terrell Kennedy added 12 for the Golden Lions (8-12, 7-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference), who have won four consecutive games.

Terry Rose and Brandon Dorsett scored 13 points each, with Dorsett collecting eight rebounds, and Peter Roberson had 12 points for Grambling State (0-17, 0-8).

Arkansas-Pine Bluff outscored Grambling State 40-14 in the paint and scored 21 points off turnovers.

With the scored tied 55-55, Arkansas-Pine Bluff took control with and 11-0 run capped by Mitchell Anderson's layup at 4:06.

With a seven-point spurt, the Tigers led 49-45 at 10:10. Grambling State fell behind 55-49 after Lazabian Jackson's 3-pointer with 7:45 left but tied it 55-55 on Brandon Dorsett's free throws at 6:11 before the Lions' run.
