Z. Mason had 17 points and 11 boards for Chattanooga (8-13, 3-5), which has lost two straight and four of its last five.

UNC Greensboro (6-13, 4-4) led 43-34 at halftime. Chattanooga cut the deficit to 67-65 with 2:14 left behind consecutive baskets by Mason but the Spartans scored eight straight to pull away.
