HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Sherrod Wright scored 22 points with 11 rebounds and Jonathan Arledge had a career-high 19 points as George Mason led wire-to-wire in a 74-63 win over James Madison on Saturday, ending a two-game skid and sweeping the season series.

The Patriots (13-9, 6-4 Colonial Athletic Association) avoided their first three-game losing streak since the 2009-10 season. They defeated the Dukes for the ninth straight time, including 68-57 on Jan. 15, and snapped James Madison's four-game winning streak.

George Mason scored the first 11 points for its largest advantage and led 32-27 at halftime.

The Dukes (13-11, 7-4) got within one point twice, the last time at 62-61 with 4:19 remaining. Arledge answered with two free throws and Corey Edwards made one. After Devon Moore's foul shot closed the gap to 65-62 with 2:27 left, George Mason finished the game on a 9-1 run.

Moore's career-high 25 points led James Madison.
