DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -- Chris Czerapowicz collected his first career double-double and 10 Davidson players scored as the Wildcats won their eighth straight, blowing out Appalachian State 87-52 Saturday night.

Czerapowicz had 10 points and 11 rebounds as one of four Davidson (17-7, 12-1 Southern Conference) players in double figures. Jake Cohen had 14 points and De'Mon Brooks 13 as starters, and Tom Droney added 14 on 5-of-7 shooting off the bench.

Nik Cochran, the nation's top free-throw shooter entering Saturday at 94.6 percent, scored eight points, surpassing the 1,000-point plateau for his career. The senior was 2 for 2 at the foul line as he became the 44th player in school history to reach the scoring mark.

The Wildcats shot 65.2 percent (15 of 23) in the first half, including 7 of 14 from 3-point range, and 53.6 percent (15 of 33) for the game. Davidson led 49-23 at the break, and won behind a 42-32 rebounding advantage and the Mountaineers' 30-percent (10 of 33) shooting.

Nathan Healy had 13 points for Appalachian State (10-13, 6-6), which had won in its past two trips to Davidson.

Davidson improved to 9-1 at home this year, including 7-0 against the SoCon.
