PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (AP) -- Jourdan DeMuynck had 27 points and 10 rebounds Saturday night and Prairie View A&M held off Mississippi Valley State 80-77.
The Panthers (11-15, 6-7 SWAC) built a big lead but had to withstand a rally by the Delta Devils (4-20, 4-10).
Prairie View led 46-29 at halftime and still held a 10-point lead with under 4 minutes to play.
MVSU got the lead down to two points with 25 seconds left, but Cory Jones made a free throw with 19 seconds to go and the Panthers held on for the win.
Davon Usher led the Delta Devils with 28 points. Ervin Thomas had 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Darryl Marshall and Blake Ralling scored 10 points apiece for MVSU.
