DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Colt Ryan scored 21 points and Evansville led throughout a 70-58 nonconference victory Saturday over Wright State.

The Aces (16-13), who opened with a 17-3 run and led 39-28 at halftime, led by as many as 18 points in the second half. They outshot Wright State (18-10) and dominated in the paint.

Ryan's 21 points included 8-of-19 shooting from the floor. Two teammates came off the bench to score in double figures. D.J. Balentine had 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, 4 of 7 from 3-point range. Lewis Jones chipped in 10 points.

JT Yoho led Wright State with 20 points off the bench. He shot 6 for 16 from the field, including 2 of 4 on 3-pointers, and went 6 for 8 at the foul line.

Evansville made 28 of 56 shots while Wright State was 19 for 53 (35.8 percent). The Aces outscored Wright State 32-18 in the paint.
