SPOKANE, Washington (Ticker) -- Like his hair, Ronny Turiaf was all over the place.
Turiaf scored all 11 of his team's points in overtime as 21st-ranked Gonzaga held off Georgia, 82-76, in an entertaining battle of Bulldogs.
The only questionable part of Turiaf's game was his hair, which he wore in a sloppy afro. Only a headband kept it out of his eyes.
The fashion statement didn't slow the 6-10 junior forward, who made 7-of-8 free throws, a jumper in the lane and a finger roll in overtime. His free throw 14 seconds into the extra session put Gonzaga up for good, 72-71.
Turiaf also had nine rebounds and three blocks, helping Gonzaga (3-1) win its third straight since a 73-66 loss to Saint Joseph's on November 14.
Rashad Wright scored 21 points and Jonas Hayes added 20 for Georgia (2-1), which played its first road game of the season.
Gonzaga appeared to be pulling away in the later stages of regulation, building a 59-54 lead with 6:22 left on a floater in transition by Erroll Knight.
Georgia scored nine of the next 11 points to grab a 63-61 edge. After Hayes made a pair of baskets inside, Wright stripped Blake Stepp and dunked, then hit a 3-pointer with 4:10 to play.
Turiaf got into the act with 2:37 left as his dunk tied it at 65-65 and forced a huge ovation from the crowd of 10,830 at Spokane Arena.
Wright buried a tough fadeaway near the free-throw line with 4.5 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime.
That's where Turiaf took over. He scored the first three points of the extra session from the line, then answered a pair of foul shots by Hayes with a jumper in the lane, making it 76-73 with 2:40 to go.
Turiaf helped on the defensive end as well, blocking Hayes from behind before making a finger roll for a 78-73 lead with 1:33 remaining.
Levi Stukes made things interesting with a 3-pointer for Georgia, but Wilkins missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer and Turiaf tipped the loose ball to Tony Skinner.
Turiaf then got hit on the face as he backed onto the block. He hit two free throws, grabbed a rebound at the other end and made two more foul shots to finish the scoring.
