Seth Davis joined the staff of Sports Illustrated in July 1995. He is now a staff writer for the magazine and authors the Inside College Basketball column during the regular season. Davis is also a frequent contributor to the magazine's golf section, Golf Plus.

Before arriving at SI, Davis spent nearly three years at The New Haven Register, where he wrote about the NFL, NBA, college basketball and local high school sports. A 1992 graduate of Duke with a degree in Political Science, he also was a sports columnist for The Chronicle, the university's daily campus newspaper.
