In this election-year signing period, we set out to answer a question -- or rather, 51 questions: In each state (plus the District of Columbia), which school has dominated recruiting over the past four classes?
The winners were decided by analyzing lists, anywhere from two to 20 deep, of each state's top prospects between 2004-07, judged both on star rating and collegiate performance. For consistency, prep-school and juco players were ranked with their final school's state. The State Champs were crowned for having the most recruiting success, whether it be with one blockbuster player or a steady stream of quality commitments.
